IESA was asked to deliver a best practice solution for the group's stores locations across the country, which operated with no centralised procedure to oversee regulation, compliance, accuracy and health and safety standards.


  • IESA sought to introduce a standard stores improvement plan to roll out across the business.
  • This would ensure that all the UK stores would be brought up to the same IESA/client-approved standard.


IESA worked with the client to introduce a stores management system that would improve 'goods in and out' procedures, stock accuracy levels, and business efficiency.

The plans were continually reviewed at each site meeting with the engineering team and the IESA stores envoys to drive through any improvements identified.

IESA provided a continuous assessment RAG report for the entire stores portfolio, and commissioned client surveys to monitor service delivery feedback from the engineering community.


  • The improved standards plan has helped in the implementation of stock reduction initiatives and an improvement in control and compliance management.
