Gresham-backed IESA appoints new CEO

IESA are delighted to be able to announce the appointment of Glenn Timms as CEO.

Mr Timms has a track record of growth in multi-site, multi-national businesses, including Business and Support Services (BPO, outsourcing and technology) and Manufacturing. During his career he has served as CEO of both Deloitte's former BPO Business Liberta, which grew threefold in four years and ClientLogic/Sitel, operating through 17 multi-national centres.

Gresham backed the Management Buy Out of IESA in May 2012 and the business has performed strongly since, with revenues for the year to 31 March 2013 reaching £117 million. The company was recently listed in the North West Business Insider's Growth 100. IESA's client list includes multinational organisations such as AstraZeneca, Bridon International, Cummins, Johnson & Johnson, Kellogg's, Premier Foods, Proctor & Gamble, and Weetabix. The company currently manages 260 operations across the UK and Ireland.

Glenn Timms said: "I am delighted to be joining IESA at such an exciting time in its development. The organisation is already highly successful and has an impressive track record of growth and stands out from competitors in the quality of the services it provides, the sophistication of its systems and software and the blue chip customer base. I look forward to working with the rest of the management team to further grow and develop the business, enhancing our offering and our market position for the future."

Mark Blower, Partner at Gresham Private Equity, said: "We are pleased that Glenn has joined the company and believe he is a great addition to management team at IESA. Since our investment last year the company has performed well, benefitting from significant investment, new facilities and new measures to optimise the business. Glenn's extensive experience will be invaluable in driving forward the next phase of IESA's development."
