IESA in Top-100 fastest growing hi-tech businesses in Britain!

Warrington-based IESA Ltd has secured its place in The Sunday Times 2006 Tech Track 100 list which ranks Britain's top 100 fastest-growing private tech companies . The placement comes after a rigorous selection process adjudicated by the sponsors Microsoft and PriceWaterHouseCoopers.

IESA grew from a family business, which celebrates its 113th birthday this year. Starting as a traditional manufacturer of engineering goods and was re-invented a century later by the founder's great, great grandson. The Warrington firm invested heavily in IT, and now uses its software to manage clients' supply chains. Contracts with customers such as Pilkington and Siemens have boosted sales 59% a year from £7.4m in 2003 to £18.8m in 2005.

IESA is the UK's most innovative provider in the supply of engineering stores management for clients in the manufacturing sector. With its origins in the supply of tools and engineering supplies, IESAs' current portfolio ranges from state-of-the-art automated tool dispensers to online store management solutions. The company's client list continues to grow and includes multinational organisations such as Pilkington, Siemens, ConvaTec, Rhodia ,SCA and Visteon.
