Billing Analyst – Warrington

Job description

You will be responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely invoicing. You will provide the required dataset to ensure that customers are accurately billed aligned to the agreed schedule. You will be look at any misalignments in the data and resolve anything that prevents a successful charge. You will support the business with processes such as reporting checks as well and identifying areas of risks and implementing improvements.

What am I responsible and accountable for and the typical decisions I make

  • To Raise Invoices and Credit notes
  • Update existing invoices / credits with client PO coverage
  • To support in obtaining PO numbers for goods and services
  • Resolve any queries with data that result in a transaction being unable to bill
  • To analyse charging data to ensure accuracy
  • Ensure all customer information is up to date and accurate
  • Proactively review process to drive improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships that mutually benefit clients and IESA
  • Work with external auditors to support year-end financial statements
  • Take responsibility for all charges to our clients
  • Responsible for KPI/SLA delivery in line with set objectives
  • Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone and email
  • Resolve queries and carry out root cause to ensure payment is made on time
  • To carry out such other duties which are consistent with the nature and responsibilities of the job role.

Reporting Structure/Budget

  • Position reports to the Billing & AR Manager

Key Deliverables for my role

  • Ensuring accurate billing across all our client database
  • Communicating queries & resolving them
  • Complete transactional Billing
  • Complete one-off billing
  • Deal with misalignments of data
  • Resolve internal / external queries
  • Full responsibility of maintaining customer accounts
  • Ensuring that payments are collected in agreed time frames
  • Regular reporting to Customer Managers
  • Achieving KPIs aimed at maximising cash collection and minimising aged debt
  • Ad hoc reporting and tasks as requested by Management
